Well, hello there!

My name is Rachel Aranico and I am a San Diego-based photographer specializing in natural light photography. As a wife and mother, I know how important it is to capture those fleeting moments - silly toothless smiles, tiny fingers and toes, big milestones, love (young and old), anniversaries, the ring, graduates, first steps, the bond across generations, and countless other special moments.

Photographs are tangible bits of magic, capable of transporting you back to moments in time. Let me take those brief, yet beautiful, moments and turn them into lasting, magical memories for you and your family. My absolute favorite moments to capture are those *in between* moments, where you can almost feel the fun, sense the emotion, and hear the belly laughs. While many great photos are posed and "picture perfect," I believe the authenticity of a person and who they are comes through when it's not overly scripted or forced (especially with little ones). I 100% encourage laughter, play, cuddles, hugs, and kisses - let's have some FUN!
